Fontana Food AB is a family business. Since the start in 1978, the Papadopoulos family has been an ambassador for food from Greece and the countries around the Mediterranean Sea in Sweden. The classic halloumi cheese has been around since the 1980s, when Fontana’s founder Frixos Papadopoulos was the first in Sweden to sell halloumi. Nowadays, it is highly loved throughout the country. Fontana has always worked for a sustainable society in terms of both people, animals and nature. This is something that our founder he always cherished, long before it ended up in today’s focus and social debate.
