The HORECA industry is currently affected by national and international legislation. The new requirements aim, among other things, to reduce the amount of waste and negative climate impact from disposable materials by promoting circular business models and long-term utilization of materials via reuse.

Splitvision offers a portfolio of reusable packaging – mugs, trays and bowls optimized for multiple rotations, quick drying and a quality take away experience, which can be underlined via recognitions from industry giants such as Max Burgers, Burger King and Picadeli as well as reusable systems such as Vytal and Rondo (info follows in the next paragraphs).

In addition to the hardware, we also offer reusable system solutions via the subsidiary Vytal Sweden. By offering Vytal, businesses that serve food and drink can replace single-use packaging with reusable packaging. These reusable packaging rotates in library-like loan-and-return system which means that guests can borrow packaging for free for 14 days. Each package is marked with a QR code on the lid and at each check-out and check-in, the QR code is scanned so that connected restaurants and guests can easily keep track of their stock of Vytal items.

Do you want to switch to reusable but worried about the increased need for washing? Via our Rondo service, you order delivery of washed products and pick-up of products that have been used and need to be washed. Rondo is currently used by several Hemköp, City Gross and Urban Deli stores in the Axfood corporation, and our vision is to make Rondo a business standard for grocery stores.
