Vytal is a reusable system that works to reduce the waste and resource consumption that single-use packaging results in.

By offering Vytal, businesses that serve food and drink can replace single-use packaging with reusable packaging. These reusable cups, bowls and trays rotates in a library-like system that means guests can borrow packaging for free for 14 days. If the packaging is not returned, the consumer will be charged to the payment card with which they registered in the Vytal app. The debit is e.g. SEK 100 for a non-returned bowl or SEK 46 for a non-returned mug.

Each package is marked with a QR code on the lid, and at each check-out (borrowing) and check-in (return), the QR code is scanned over to the account that is currently responsible for the package. In this way, connected restaurants and guests can easily keep track of their stock of Vytal items.
